L.O.H.

Come on Ladies...and gents, lets go!  Where you ask, anywhere that 2 wheels will take us.  Lets see there is Chincoteague, but the temp drops at least 10 degrees when you get to the bridge and Mr Whippie's isn't open yet, or there is OC, oops most of us live in OC and we have missed Bike Week in Daytona.  Guess we are just gonna tough it out another couple of weeks and wait for some warmer weather and all the FUN events and rides that Sherry and The Harley Shop and LOH have planned.
Meanwhile there are a few things that we can do to get ready for riding and they are right here in the neighborhood.  I would encourage all you ladies to go to Carmine's Rider's Edge class on  April 19th at Ocean Pines Library at 10 am.  It usually lasts about an hour and a half and then we go for a "scoot" after.  This is a great way to refresh your biking and group riding skills and who knows you just might learn something you didn't know. The class is for everyone. Be sure you reserve a spot in the class with Carmine. Diana and I are going so see you there.
Ladies do you know how to check your oil or tire pressure?  Well if these questions and others about your bike are on you mind  The Harley Shop has THE clinic for you.  March 22 at 2pm there will be a general maintenance overview  about your motorcycle.  This is a free clinic and open only to the lady riders or those thinking of riding.
Peggy Grinith has offered to be LOH's unofficial assistant director. She will be around for any ideas or questions you may have.  We hope to have an LOH table at every meeting and are open to your ides about that .  Peggy will be at the table in April, stop over to up-date your information.  If you are not receiving LOH e-mails and would like too let us know, or if you are receiving LOH e-mails and would like to be taken off the list let us know that too.
Thank you Mary and Jeff for hosting March's LOH meeting, your home is beautiful and the dogs are wonderful.
The next meeting will be April 4th at Ana's house at 6:30.  C U there.
March 21 was the first day of spring...summer can't be far behind!
    Shiny side up,
    Marion
